CSS Profile

The CSS Profile (College Scholarship Service Profile) is an online financial aid application used by many private colleges and universities (and some public ones) to award non-federal, institutional aid, such as grants and scholarships provided by the school itself.

Note: While the FAFSA determines your eligibility for federal aid, the CSS Profile helps schools decide how much institutional aid (their own university funds) you may receive.
