Completed applications for 27-28 will be accepted starting 12/08/2026, and they must be submitted no later than 02/12/2027 to be considered in the first round of applicants.
Lottery results will be sent out on 03/17/2027. The last day to accept a seat offered in Phase 1 is 03/23/2027.
Phase 2 opens on 03/17/2027. Applications in Phase 2 will only be considered depending on space availability.

Eligibility Requirement:
To be considered for the lottery for any Bellaire High School Choice Program, applicants must have a minimum matrix score of 80. Applications that do not meet this requirement will not be included in the lottery. Please click this link to check how the matrix is calculated. If the student does not currently attend an HISD school, you must upload the student’s previous year's final report card for the matrix score to be calculated.
Registration:
We will have a Magnet Information Night when incoming magnet students can sign contracts and receive enrollment packets. The specific date and time will be emailed to incoming magnet students who have accepted a seat and uploaded the correct Proof of Residence documents.
